PostSubject: Dig and new detector   Fri Dec 24, 2010 5:56 pm

From the land of the Bluenose....Navy Davy was tied up and I was foot loose and fancy free as Marie was at work so to the island this bouy did go. Man was it windy on the lee side. Up to 70 clicks! Gud ding youz I am well weighted in da middle or I could have been blown out to sea.

Nice and calm on this side of the island and just a perfect day for detecting with the albino crows able to fly without the asistance of jet engines. Was in the zone and not really paying attention to my detecting but enjoying the view and the smell of the pine. A sort of down to Mother earth experience.

Took the old road home enjoying the waves pounding on the shore, the wind blowing through the trees and no traffic. Once home I got a great surprise. A new addition to my Garrett Freedom 3 family (far left)

and of course my first love who after getting 7/10 of her 10 days of Christmas riddles and presents last year managed only 5.5 this year.

Take for today was a Spanish coin and 43 coins @ $4.38 added to the "fund!)

This evening it was off to Mom's for a visit and even Tess is in the Christmas spirit this year!
